The Mifflinburg 5K Race is returning for 2021! We are committed to providing a safe and fun race for our participants and volunteers. Changes have been made to ensure that appropriate safety/COVID 19 guidelines are followed on race day. Please read the following information to familiarize yourself with our 2021 procedures. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to provide the community with this holiday running tradition!

Masks will be required whenever safe social distancing with other runners is not possible.

All Registrations must be made on-line to receive a shirt. You must be registered by June 15 in order to receive a t-shirt.
Registration will be on a first come, first serve basis. Registration will be limited to 250 runners. The race start will be done in waves. Waves will be structured based on estimated finish time. You will be asked to provide an estimated finish time when you register. Select the appropriate start time during your registration process.

Wave 1: 8:00am – 50 runners (15:00 min to 22:00 min finish time)
Wave 2: 8:03am – 50 runners (22:01 min to 25:00 min finish time)
Wave 3: 8:06am – 50 runners (25:01 min to 28:00 min finish time)
Wave 4: 8:09am – 50 runners (28:01 min to 31:00 min finish time)
Wave 5: 8:12am – 50 runners (31:01+ min finish time)

Race Day Registrations will be available starting at 6:30am but you will not receive a t-shirt.
Register by June 15 to guarantee you will receive a 5K T-shirt. T-shirts may be available after June 15 in limited quantities and sizes. There will be no exchanges available for t-shirts.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet, Bib and T-shirt pick up take place race day only starting at 6:30am. Watch for an email outlining packet pick up details.

Water Station
Water will be available (8ounce sealed bottles) at the finish line ONLY. There will be no water station at the top of the hill on Green Ridge Road.

Awards
There will be no “in person” awards ceremony in the park. Awards will be given to the overall male and overall female winners, only.

Results
Race results will be posted on-line immediately following the race.

Fun Run
The Kid’s Fun Run is BACK and FREE for 2021!!! Register for the Fun Run and pick up your race bib on Saturday, July 3 at the park pavilion between 6:30 am and 8:30 am.

Race times are as follows:
8:50 am: 5 years old and under
9:05 am: 6-7 years old
9:15 am: 8-9 years old

The 1st and 2nd place male and female in each age group will be recognized.

The Mifflinburg Community Pool will be open and free of charge from 9:00 am – 10:00 am to all race participants and their families.

Special Note: we will be following whatever the state and local government safety guidelines are at race time, so any and all of these restrictions are subject to change. Keep checking back for updates as race day approaches.
