Description

About the KC Temple Run
Established in 2011, the KC Temple Run is an annual 5K run made successful by more than 2000 participants yearly. KC Temple Run attendees have donated truckloads of food and thousands of hygiene and cleaning items to various local charitable organizations including Valor Ranch (2019), Amethyst Place (2021), Della Lamb (2022), and Hillcrest Platte Country (2023).  This year, the KC Temple Run is partnering with Mother's Refuge, a local charity aimed to provide a safe home for pregnant and parenting young moms and babies who do not have a stable place to live. Their mission is to "shelter and educate homeless, pregnant, and parenting young women by providing comprehensive services that empower them to make successful life decisions for themselves and their babies."

Members of the community look forward to this free event each fall. Running clubs, families of all ages, or those wanting to make a healthy choice and support a local charity find the KC Temple run a wonderful experience.
