IT'S TIME TO JOIN FORCES!!!

Dave's Running Shop wants to combine the best of both worlds by joining its Fall Marathon In-Training Program with the Fall 5K/10K Training Program to create a larger community to lean on for support and accountability: The Dave's Fall In-Training Program will still have its classic Churchill's Half-Marathon training plan and other area fall marathon events like Columbus, Detroit, and Indy. Those training under the 5K/10K plans will race many of the popular fall classic road races: Jeep 4 Miler, Boy Scout 5K/10K, Stinger 5K, Toledo Mini, MacQueens, Racing 4 Recovery, and Churchill's 5K.

The Fall 5K/10K Program will train at the same time as MIT runners but follow the 5K/10K training plan. There will be times when everyone can train together completing the same workouts because sometimes running is running no matter the race distance.

REMOTE TRAINING OPTION (online)

Dave's Running Shop also offers a remote training program for those who may have a hectic schedule and need to run at different times or live too far away to make it to in-person training or those who may not feel comfortable in a group setting at this time. No matter the reason, Dave's Remote Training offers the same full program (online) with everything that the in-person program offers except for the official group workouts.

BEGINNER PROGRAM

If you're looking to complete your first half-marathon or 5K, Dave's Running Shop will get you to the finish line with a detailed, 16-week training plan geared toward the November Churchill's Half Marathon and 5K. This training plan will gradually build your mileage and assist you in getting used to the structured training runs incrementally, so you are ready to tackle the distance by race day.
