Pineway Ponds Park 5K Run/Walk 
September 23, 2023 

5K RUN/WALK  
Prior to August 21- $30, includes race shirt and swag bag.

August 21- September 10- $35, race shirt and swag bag available as supply allows.

September 11-21- $40

September 22 until 11:30am- $45.  We recommend pre-registering to guarantee a spot in this year’s event.   Race-day registrations may not be available.

Location:  Pineway Ponds Park, Spencerport NY.  Our course is certified to be accurate by USATF #NY15107KL.  The 5K Race is primarily roads, crossing 2 bridges, beginning and ending at Pineway Ponds Park. 

Due to supply shortages, we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes or availability.  No refunds or transfers.

*Please Note:  there is no virtual option this year.  We look forward to seeing all of our participants cross the finish line at Pineway Ponds Park!

This year's race beneficiary is the WIllie Bee Foundation.  This organization works through referrals from medical providers to benefit local families who have a child facing a life-threatening illness.  For more about this organization, please visit www.thewilliebeefoundation.org

SWAG
Register prior to August 21 to be receive a gift bag!  Due to supply shortages, we are not able to guarantee shirt sizes or availability of giveaways.  

AWARDS
Prizes will be awarded for overall top 3 male/female finishers, as well as the top male/female runners in different age categories (5-10, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+).  There will be no formal awards ceremony.  Winners in our age categories will be announced/presented with awards throughout the event.  If you are not present for this presentation, you will be contacted to pick up your prize.  

PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up will take place at the Ogden Community Center, 269 Ogden Center Road, the week of the event. We strongly recommend you pick up your bib during one of the times listed below:
Monday, September 18, 1:30-3:30pm
Tuesday, September 19, 8:30am-3:30pm and 6:00-7:00pm 
Wednesday, September 20, 8:30am-3:30pm and 6:00-7:00pm
Thursday, September 21, 8:30am-3:30pm
Friday, September 22, 8:30am-11:30am
Race-day packet pickup begins at 7:45am and ends by 8:15am. Packet pickup will take place at Pineway Ponds Park. 

HEALTH & SAFETY GUIDELINES
Some roads might close for this event.  Roads may open prior to the last participant finishing.  The finish line will close at 10:00am.  Please keep this in mind for pacing purposes.

Based upon current local and/or state health mandates, extra precautions may be made to ensure the safety of our staff, participants, and community.  Guidelines, if necessary will be released prior to the in-person event.

By registering for this event, you are acknowledging that the date, time, location and distance of the race may be changed, switched to virtual, or cancelled at any time as deemed necessary.  In this event, there will be no refunds, transfers, or deferrals unless otherwise stated.

Kid's Fun Run
Our Kid's Fun Run will return this year for children ages 10 years and under.  This event will take place during the 5k, when there is a break in the runners/walkers.  We are anticipating a start time of 9:15am, but an announcement will be made 5 minutes prior with further details.  Please note- this is a fun run; giving our younger participants an opportunity to run through the finish line.
