Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4^th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the 33rd Annual Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run. 

We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race. You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no extra cost)

THIS IS A CUPLESS RACE: All aid stations will have water and/or electrolyte drinks available. All runners must carry their own hydration device to fill at the aid stations. You have the option to purchase a collapsible 50th anniversary cup to use during the race. Only one allowed per person. 

IN-PERSON RACE Details:

• Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups
• 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
• Costume contest after the race. Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
• Sublimated tech shirts. Limited youth sizes available, register early.
•  Finisher medals for all
• Post-race food and refreshments

VIRTUAL RACE Details:

• The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler are races that you can run or walk from any location and route. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
• Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
• When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
• Please take a picture at the end of your run with your Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler Medal. Upload these to your social media platforms and tag us or use the hashtag #FD4M24
• Complete your race and submit your results between: July 4, 2024, 12:00am- July 25, 2024, 11:59pm
• Mens or womens tech shirt. Youth sizes will be limited.

AWARDS: We will be handing out pint glass awards for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.
