October 2020 Event UPDATE:  In-Person Running is HERE!

After 6 months of developing running protocols with State, County and Local authorities and agreeing to follow strict guidelines of limited participants, hygiene, face coverings and massive social distancing.  California Classic Events has been sanctioned to organize the first run event in Fresno City since the start of the pandemic!! For this honor we will be putting on our long awaited, sold-out St Patrick's Day Run, to be held Saturday November 7th.   

Unfortunately, due to Fresno County and Fresno City pandemic protocols ONLY Fresno County residences that had previously  registered for the postponed St Patrick's Day Run will be allowed to participate, all other non-Fresno County residences will automatically be moved to our Virtual Run and their event shirt and finisher's medal will be mailed to their registration address on Monday November 9th.  Please understand this is out of our hands and we deeply apologize for this inconvenience and disappointment, we will be providing these participants a 20% discount to our 2021 St Patrick's Day Run event, as well as their 2020 medal and event shirt.

Additionally, this event has been limited to 400 participants.  Prior to the pandemic we had over 1,000 registrants so we are in need to further reduce our event registrations.  Fresno County 4-mile participants will have the first opportunity to select their time Corral and must agree to the new protocols in writing.  Starting October 26th, 2-mile participants will have the opportunity to select a time Corral until the 400 capacity has been reached.

If you are not comfortable, at this time, with running in an organized event or do not want to agree to our new protocols do not select a Corral.  After Sunday October 25th, any 4-mile participant NOT selecting a time Corral will automatically be transferred to our virtual run and we will mail you your event shirt, finisher's medal and 20% discount coupon for next year.

All registrants will be emailed instructions on October 20th including the mandatory protocol contract.

PUT YOUR GREEN ON!  Join us for the 5th annual Fresno St Patrick's Day Run!  Whether you run or walk the Shamrock 4 Miler or our GREEN Leprechaun 2 Miler you'll have a great time..... GREEN Medallions, GREEN Event Shirt, GREEN goodies and for those 21 and older GREEN BEER in our Lucky Pot of Gold Beer Garden.  Create a GREEN Team and vie for our LARGEST GREEN team award!  Enter the Irish Look Contest! GREEN age group awards. Lets see your GREEN!  Irish music and Selfie opportunities available!  All races are chip timed.  This event is the last race of the Winter Classic Medal Series!
