The I Love LK 5K is a fund raising event meant to memorialize precious Lila Kate McAlister. LK lived a remarkable 41/2 years, touching the hearts and lives of all people who met her. Born with Down Syndrome, pulmonary hypertension, and a heart defect, simple illnesses such as the common cold were a constant source of concern for her family. On January 9, 2015, Lila Kate left our lives to be in heaven. Raising funds for organizations such as Arkansas Children's Hospital and the Arkansas Down Syndrome Association in her memory is a top priority for her family, friends, and our community. Your participation in this event gives great comfort to Lila Kate's family, and it helps support many nonprofit organizations in our community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
