About This Race
The James Anderson Built on Belief 7K and 1 Mile Walk is the 3rd annual event in Akron, Ohio dedicated to recovery, resilience, and community. The 7K is timed while the 1 Mile Walk is untimed and family-friendly. The race was inspired by James Anderson, who ran 100 miles to raise funds for recovery. All participants receive a t-shirt and a medal.

Top 1 Overall Male & Female; Top 3 Age Group Male & Female in 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Pre-race packet pickup Saturday, October 17th 12:00pm-4:00pm at The JADFA House, 916 Kenmore Blvd Akron, OH; race day registration and packet pickup begins 7:30am.
