About This Race
Challenge yourself and enjoy a beautiful morning run (or walk) on a 5-mile loop course around a serene lake.
Whether you're training for a Fall/Winter marathon or just want to test your endurance, this 6-hour race is an ideal choice. And it's a perfect distance for those seeking to go beyond the marathon distance.
In addition to the fuel and encouragement you'll get at the aid stations, you'll be able to leave your own gear/nutrition in a secure area so you can reach for it each lap or as needed.
Laps and mileage are counted via chip. Splits are given every 5 miles (one loop of the course). There are permanent markers at every 1/4 mile. In the last 30 minutes, participants get credit for additional mileage if they reach one of the remote aid stations.
All paces welcome--see what you can do in 6 hours! Race is limited to 75 participants.
All participants receive a t-shirt, medal and a Certificate of Completion. Awards are given to top runners in M/W Open, M/W 50-59, and M/W 60/Over.
Parking is off-site but within easy walking distance.
