About This Race

Sanibel's only 10K/5K Race is the JOG portion of the annual JOG N JAM community race and music concert fundraiser hosted by FISH of SanCap on Sanibel Island, Florida. The 10K and 5K both begin and end at the Sanibel Community House at 7:30 a.m., followed by an awards ceremony and a kids' run. Each in-person runner receives a finisher medallion and a T-shirt.

5K Walk/Run 5K
Time limit for the 5K course is 90 minutes (29 minute/mile pace). All roads reopen at 830 AM for regular vehicle traffic, at which point race officials will direct participants still on the course onto the Shared Use Path to finish the race.
