Race for Lily Grace

A few years ago, we started this race to help raise funds for Lily’s medical treatments. Today, Lily is completely healed in heaven, and while we no longer need to raise money for her care, we are honored to continue Race for Lily Grace in memory of our sweet girl.

All funds raised support other families caring for medically complex children. Through encouragement, practical support, and the hope of the Gospel, we aim to come alongside parents as they navigate the challenges of caring for their children.

To further this mission, we established Upheld Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Race for Lily Grace is Upheld’s primary annual fundraiser. At Upheld Ministries, we exist so that parents of medically complex children would know the hope and refuge found in the Gospel. We provide encouragement through biblical truth, connection with other parents, opportunities for rest, and support for the daily journey of caregiving.

New this year: We’re excited to offer an in-person 5K and Kids Fun Run on October 3, 2026, at Flag Pole Hill. The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m., followed by the Kid's Fun Run at 8:45 a.m.

Can’t join us in person? Participate virtually from anywhere! Run on your own or gather friends and family to race together.

Not a runner? Join the cheering section instead! You’ll still receive Race for Lily Grace swag—no sweating required.
