About This Race
The Living Journeys 2026 Summit Hike is the 27th annual community cancer support hike held at Crested Butte Mountain Resort in the West Elk Mountains. Hikers can choose the full 9.9-mile trek from the base, take the chairlift for a shorter 2-mile hike to the summit, or ride up and join for lunch. The event supports those facing cancer and remembers loved ones lost. Proceeds fund support services, emotional counseling, and financial assistance for individuals and families navigating cancer in the community.
