About This Race
Note: Due to the government shutdown, the venue has been moved from Great Falls National Park to this new location. The date and time remain unchanged.
Join us at a 5K course run on the grounds on Leesburg's historic Oatlands Plantation for a vibrant Saree Run, proudly organized by the KCSMW Women’s Forum, to raise awareness and support for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Everyone is welcome! It doesn't matter Who you are or What you wear — whether you're in a Saree, Sportswear or Simple Slacks, just show up and run for a purpose.
Participants will receive a race t-shirt and medal. T-shirts are not guaranteed after 9/20/25, so register early to guarantee your shirt.
Run with heart. Run with hope. Run for awareness! Open to all participants ages 10 and above!
The course is mostly grass, with rolling hills, some wooded trails, and two creek crossings. Runners can expect some short hills with sharp inclines.
Group Discount: Get $50 off your total when you register a group of 10 or more!
Participants ages 9 and under may walk or run for free with a parent or legal guardian who is participating in the 5K. Kids 9 and under have the option to purchase a race t-shirt by 9/20/25 for $15.00 during registration. All participants ages 9 and under will also receive a finisher's medal.
