About This Race

The Jail Break 5K is a flat run/walk through downtown Crown Point, Indiana, hosted by Race the Region and the Old Sheriff's House Foundation. The scenic, tree-lined Main Street route begins in front of the historic Old Sheriff's House and Jail, from which John Dillinger famously escaped in 1934. All participants receive a finisher's medal, and downtown restaurants offer post-race dining.
