I thought this was a good idea 5K

Break out your wind breakers, sweat bands, good vibes and join us for our 1st Annual “I thought this was a good idea” 5K to support 

Hope & Rest Temporary Shelter. The local homeless shelter that operates during the Winter months by providing a warm, safe space for our homeless friends. 

We want to bring some laughter and joy and, in some cases, sweat and tears .... 

This 5K will have encouraging messages along the way, there will be some up hills and some down hills, you will get to see the beautiful river and enjoy some beautiful scenery. 

Goodie bags to those who register, 50 Cent beer tickets sponsored by On Cue for those 21 and up, and trophies for everyone.... just kidding just the top peeps.....but medals for all.

Shirts or tanks included in registration. Registration and shirt orders ends September 19th at 11:59pm.

Race will be timed by 5 Runners Racing and begin at Skyline High School parking lot, we will run through the dog park, up Kerfoot Ave, down Salem, up Luray Ave to West Criser and back to Skyline where we started. Strollers are welcomed.
