About This Race
The Historic Hillsborough Half Marathon and 5K, presented by the Hillsborough Running Club, showcases the historic sites and scenic routes of Hillsborough, North Carolina. Runners pass landmarks like the Old Orange County Courthouse and run a lap of the Historic Occoneechee Speedway Trail, the only surviving track from NASCAR's inaugural 1949 season. Custom medals are awarded to all finishers in both the half marathon and 5K.

Hydration Support
Aid stations - 5K at the Speedway track passed twice at mile 1.4 and 2.0; Half at miles 3.5, 4.8, 6.5, 8.5, 11.0, 12.0.
Awards
Awards to the overall top three male and female winners, top three male and female masters (40+), and top three males and females in each age group.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Thursday Oct 2 Fleet Feet Durham (Southpoint) 4-7pm; Saturday Oct 4 Hillsborough Farmers Mkt Pavilion 1-5pm; Sunday race morning 6-7am.
