About This Race
Lace up your shoes and join us for the Hero Hustle 5K for Jeremy—a community run/walk benefiting one of Downtown Fort Myers' own, Jeremy, a beloved City Tavern manager who is courageously battling Stage IV colon cancer.
Whether you're chasing a personal best, walking with friends and family, or simply showing your support, every step helps make a difference. This event is about more than crossing a finish line—it's about coming together as a community to rally behind someone who has spent years lifting up those around him.
Proceeds from the Hero Hustle 5K will go directly to Jeremy and his family, helping ease the financial burden of treatment so they can focus on what matters most: his fight.
We encourage everyone to dress up as your favorite superhero! Whether you're rocking a full cape and mask or just a superhero T-shirt, come dressed to celebrate the heroes in our community and show Jeremy that he's not fighting this battle alone.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Run, walk, cheer from the sidelines, or donate—every act of support counts.
