About This Race

The H-E-B Cameron Park Zoo Stampede is a kangaroo-themed race at Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas, featuring 10K, 5K, and 1K distances. Registration is limited to 850 runners, with early registrants guaranteed a t-shirt and finisher medal. A virtual cycling event with 10, 25, and 50 mile options is also offered, and race-day participants present their bib for zoo admission.

Awards: Overall Male/Female, Top Male/Female Masters (40+), top 3 Male/Female Age Groups Age Groups: 14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 etc. to 70-74, 75+ This is a chip-timed event!

Virtual packet pick up will coincide with the regular race as follows: Early packet pick-up: 4:00 -7:00 pm on Friday, November 13, at the Corwin, Estes & Jaynes Education Center. Race-day registration and packet pick-up will start at 6:30 am on Saturday, November 14th at the zoo entry plaza, 1701 N 4th St, Waco, TX 76707. In the event you cannot pick up at this time, it will be held at the zoo ticket office for 30 days. If you prefer shipping, there is a $15.00 processing fee.
