About This Race
The Groton Labor Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is a fundraiser for the Groton Varsity Cross Country Program, with all proceeds benefiting the girls' and boys' teams. The 5K course runs through village streets, an old railroad bed, and finishes on the high school track. Ribbons go to every finisher, with plaques and gift certificates for top placers.
