About This Race

Pre-Register by June 17, 2027 to guarantee a T-shirt.  Welcome to Glen Elder, Kansas and Waconda Lake.  This event takes participants across the dam on either a 2-mile walk or a 2 or 5-mile run.  Join us and support the activities of the Glen Elder Lions Club.  

Meet on the square in downtown Glen Elder at 6:30 am for registration and packet pick-up.  Event starts at 7:00 am.

Come to the "Best Dam Run in Kansas". This walk takes you up on the dam at Waconda Lake. Great morning views of Waconda Lake and Glen Elder await participants on the 2 mile walk over the Glen Elder Dam. Register by June 17 ,2027 to guarantee a T-shirt.
