About This Race
The Galveston Island Turkey Trot is a 5th annual Thanksgiving 5K on a flat course along the famous Galveston Island Seawall in Galveston, Texas. The out and back course offers views of the Gulf Coast and ends with a post-race party at Menard Park behind the McGuire-Dent Recreation Center. Costumes are welcome and the race supports HART, a nonprofit promoting health and fitness on the Island.

Packet pickup Wednesday, November 25, 2026 10am-6pm at Galveston Island Running Co., 518 23rd St; race day pickup at Menard Park 6:15am-7:15am.
