About This Race

The Classic City Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay is held in downtown Athens, Georgia, starting and finishing downtown. It offers the marathon, half marathon, and a four-person marathon relay, with courses that showcase downtown Athens, historic neighborhoods, and community greenways. The event is a Zero Waste event and is paired with the outdoor Classic City Marathon Festival.
