About This Race

AVDA's 27th Annual Race for Hope is a fun event for all ages (and pets) that supports AVDA's programs and services for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. AVDA is one of two state-certified domestic violence shelters in Palm Beach County and the only one solely focused on domestic violence. Funds raised ensure AVDA can continue to provide life-saving services for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Pets are welcome to accompany their owners on the race course. All pets and their owners must be registered to run/walk. Pet owners are responsible for starting the run/walk in the rear of the crowd for the safety of the pets and runners.

Race for Hope Kid's Dash
The Kids Dash is one wave, starting at 8:30 am. It is not timed, for ages 6 and under and is 100 yards. There is no limit to the number of registrations. All the children who participate receive a medal as well. It is a no pressure fun run for the little ones!
