About This Race
The Audie Murphy Hero Run 5K & 5K Teams is part of Farmersville's annual Old Time Saturday celebration, winding through the historic streets of Farmersville, TX on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 8:00 AM. The race is open to runners of all ages and benefits Farmersville Centennial Inc., which supports the local library, senior center and other community organizations. The day also features a parade, car show and family-friendly entertainment.

Finisher medals for the first 75 to cross the finish line; trophies for Overall M & F; 1st/2nd/3rd place charms for age groups (14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).
