The Super Hero 5K Run/Walk Event is being held in Memory of and to celebrate Matthew W. Stahl's Birthday! Our event will be held at Bridgewater Church State 10142 Rt 167 Montrose, PA 18801

This year's event will benefit The Children's Center, A Child Advocacy Center.

The Children's Center's primary focus is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for children and their families as they go through the interviewing and examination processes after disclosing some type of abuse.  The multidisciplinary team approach, which includes law enforcement, victim services, social services and medical services, minimizes further trauma by having the child interview with one individual, a forensic interviewer as opposed to multiple separate interviews.   Another focus of the Children’s Center will be to provide education and outreach about child abuse.

NEW COURSE THIS YEAR!

Sign up as a group for the run or walk! When registering a team with 2 people more, the first person will cost $25, and each additional registrant will only cost $20/registrant. You must register and pay for the group in a single transaction.

WE encourage EVERYONE to wear a Super Hero Costume or a Cape!!!!

NEW THIS YEAR: We are allowing strollers on the course! Walkers and runners MAY leave their children to participate in kids events while you are on the course.

 

Optional Lunch choices: NEW THIS YEAR: SPIEDIE PIT! Enjoy a delicious Chicken Spiedie Sub cooked over an open pit! Also, returning this year will be the Waffle Bar with waffles in the shape of different Avengers symbols (Capt. America shield, Thor's hammer, etc.) and a variety of yummy toppings that include homemade maple syrup, regular and flavored syrups, fresh fruit, whipped cream, and candies!
