Deaf-initely Can 5K & Fun Run

The Deaf-initely Can 5K and Fun Run is a run/walk event that benefits students attending the Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. Your participation supports:

• Field trips for preschoolers–seniors to build vocabulary from real-life experiences,

• Extra learning materials for teachers, students, and families throughout the year,

• Workshops for parents and educators to improve communication strategies and support,

• Transportation for students to attend Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing activities,

• Technology like Hearing Assistive Technology to help students thrive in the classroom,

• Social events to help students build lifelong friendships and peer support,

• And fulfilling other critical program needs as they arise throughout the year.

The Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serves over 100 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students across Region 9, including Wichita Falls ISD, Burkburnett ISD, and neighboring SSAs. Your support helps us provide language-rich experiences from infancy through high school.
