About This Race
Here is the race you have been waiting for! The Dwight Bershaw Memorial .5K (that's right, a .5K) fun run is the race that anyone can run! At just .5 kilometers you don't even have to train!
Does 1/2 kilometer seem like a lot? No way......so let's break it down. 1/2 of a kilometer = 546.8 yards = .31 miles = 1,640 feet = 19,685 inches! That's it!
The race is on Saturday, September 19th @ 10:00am, and everyone should be done by 10:15am!. Worried about bonking? Well don't worry because there will be a donut and water station at the halfway point. Every participant will receive a race medal AND, each finisher will receive a pretentious European oval sticker for your car window so you can tell everyone you finished a .5K!
We are also encouraging costumes!
Do you need to train? Nope. Do you need to think about it? Nope. Do you need to worry about your nagging hamstring injury? Nope!
Just show up, have fun and help support the Sunrise Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene and we will use the proceeds to help others in our community and beyond!
