About This Race
The Dover American Legion Post 205 will be holding its 3rd Annual 5K Memorial Run/Walk in conjunction with The City of Dover’s “End of Summer Celebration” on Sunday, September 6th. Race day registration will begin at 9am and race will start at 10am. The event will take place starting, and finishing, at the softball field next to Dover Middle School.
The school is located at 2131 North Wooster Avenue, and located just off East 21st Street in Dover. The Run/Walk event will take place going through Dover’s City Park, which includes grass and paved surfaces, and a couple of hills.
All proceeds from the event will be going to The Jack Reese Memorial Scholarship Fund, where the Dover American Legion provides scholarships to Dover area high school seniors.
