Reindeer Run 2 Miler

Campus Recreation is proud to present the Reindeer Run 2 Mile Trail Race hosted at Hydaway Outdoor Center on Saturday, December 5, 2026. The Reindeer Run 2 Mile Trail Race is the 3rd trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course is comprised of an out and back on forest roads and has a special holiday theme!  We encourage all runners to dress up in the spirit of the season and join us for cookies, cocoa, and treats after the race!

Donation Organization To Be Announced

We are in the final conversations with a new organization that you will be able to partner with to donate and help our Lynchburg community. Stay tuned for further information later this summer!  Please spread the holiday cheer by considering a donation to their cause and receive a discount on your registration!

DISTANCE | 2 miles

START TIME | 9 A.M.
PACKET PICKUP | December 4 – Lahaye Rotunda from 10:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M. | December 5 – Hydaway from 8-8:45 A.M. (before the race)
T-SHIRT | Featured giveaway t-shirt is guaranteed before Nov 26th registration.  A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
AWARDS | Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female overall winners, top 3 male & female in each age group, and top male & female masters (>40 years of age) overall winners. Overall awards will be ranked by gun time, age group awards will be ranked on chip time. 

Door prizes will also be given out throughout the event.

*LMTS FINISHER AWARDS | Awards will be given to all runners who participate in all 5 LMTS 2026-2027 races in April 2027 (Deep Hollow, Valley View, Reindeer Run, Arctic 5k, King of the Mountain).
