Get ready to lace up, light up, and trot into the holidays with us at the 3rd Annual Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-mile family fun run at beautiful Lake Walk in Bryan-College Station!

Bring your friends, your family, your running club, or your coworkers—this is more than just a race; it's a community celebration to close out the year Active Texan-style.

As the sun sets, the Lake Walk Pavilion will transform into a glowing holiday party complete with:

🎶 Holiday tunes
🍔 Food trucks & hot chocolate
🎯 Festive games & selfie stations
✨ Post-race celebration on the Green

Race Details
Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026

Time:
• 4:30 PM – 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run
• 5:00 PM – 10K Start
• 5:05 PM – 5K Start

Location: Lake Walk Pavilion, Bryan, TX

Events: 10K • 5K • 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run

Timing: Professionally chip-timed races for the 5K and 10K.

All participants will receive a finisher medal, t shirt and sponsor swag

🏆 Awards for the Top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions.

A Few Tips
Headlamps are recommended for 10K runners, as portions of the course will take place after dark.

The route is well-lit by streetlights, and we'll keep things merry and bright with glow sticks and bracelets for all participants.

🎅 Costumes and holiday spirit are highly encouraged!
