About This Race
Adventure Trail Ultras at O'Bannon Woods State Park is a demanding, scenic trail race just 30 minutes from Louisville, featuring a 50 Miler(+Relay), 50K, and 25K built around the Adventure Trail system.
The 50 Miler/Relay and 50K are run on a challenging 25-mile loop, while the 25K and portions of the 50K also use shorter segmented loops—offering both a true ultra grind and a more accessible but still rugged experience. Expect rolling, technical singletrack, steady climbs, and fast forest sections throughout.
Beyond the course, the park adds to the adventure with camping, bunkhouse lodging, cave tours, hiking, biking, and kayaking, making it a full weekend destination. This is truly a hidden gem. You will find great food, breweries and tourism like Marengo Cave just 20mins away.
With strong aid support, optional live tracking, great post-race food this is a true trail ultra built for runners chasing challenge, scenery, and a full outdoor experience!
