Minong Summer Days 5K Run/Walk

Event Description:

The Minong Summer Days (MSD) Non-Profit Organization is happy to invite you to join them for the Minong Summer days 5K Run/Walk event! This is a locally sponsored chip-timed event starting at 8:05 A.M. This will be a down and back course that is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Also, don't miss out on the FREE Kids Run for all kids 12 years and under starting immediately following the 5K at approximately 9:15/9:30 A.M.

This is the first year that Minong Summer Days has been operating as a Non-Profit Organization. It will take place yearly on the second full weekend of August. This year it will by held during the weekend of August 14-16.  There are several events planned from youth baseball/softball, kids glow party, adult co-ed softball tournament, bean bag tournament, little league tournament, classic car & bike show, parade, youth talent showcase, bingo, and live music by The Second Time Around Band, Hitchville, and Unicorn!! 

Race Time:

5K starts at 8:05 A.M with Kids Run starting immediately after at approximately 9:15/9:30 A.M.

Pricing:

Adult (18+): $30.00 + registration fee

Child (11-17): $20.00 + registration fee

Child (10 and under): Free

*Prices increase by $5 for same-day registration

Registration and Packet Pick Up:

Registration includes a MSD T-Shirt - Register by July 20th to guarantee your size.

*Packet pick-up and Same-day Registration (including race bibs) will be at Jack Link's Aquatic and Activity Center (JLAAC) on Saturday August 15th from 7:00-8:05 AM. 

All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable

Prizes and Giveaways:

Award Ceremony will be immediately following the race at about 9:30/9:45 A.M.

Prizes will be awarded to the Top Male and Top Female finishers in each division

Prizes will also be awarded for a variety of age groups.
