Run for a Dream 5K and 1M Fun Run

Landon Padgett Memorial Fund is excited to announce the 4th Annual Run for a Dream 5K & 1M Fun Run - a morning of fun for the whole family!  You can walk, run, jog or dance your way through the family-friendly 5K and 1M courses which wind through the Bleckley County 5K cross-country trails.  Once you pass the finish line, meet us at the game field for lots of family activities including:

• Inflatable bouncers provided by Big Mike's Inflatables
• A coloring activity for the kids
• Corn hole and other games
• Face painting
• Photos with Santa

RUNNER PERKS:  T-shirt, LPMF canvas bag, sponsor gifts, drinks and snacks.

​No Pets. No strollers on course.  Wear appropriate footwear for running the cross country course.

Online registration ends at 11:59PM on November 20, 2026. Price increases to $35.00 for day of event registrations.  Register through November 3rd to guarantee yourself a shirt at the event.  T-shirts for registrations after November 3rd may be mailed after the event.

A virtual runner option is available for those who can't make it to Cochran but still want to participate.  

This event was born from Landon's love of running and the children and families he served as a nurse at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.  All proceeds from this fundraising event support our two programs benefiting the health and well-being of children and young people.
