Amity Island 5K & Fun Run

Join us for the 10th Annual Amity Island 5K & Fun Run!

Amity means friendship and we love running with our friends! Join us on Sunday, August 2nd for a 5K race in Katama. The course starts and finishes at the Farm Institute and is a flat route that will take you down Edgartown Bay Road and down to South Beach. The proceeds from this race benefit local charities and island kids. Get registered ASAP to secure your spot! Race shirts are only guaranteed for the first 400 runners. 

We encourage families to run/walk together, however since it is a farm, please NO DOGS! Carpooling is also encouraged, as well as riding your bike or taking the VTA.

9:00 AM 5K Run/Walk    

8:45 AM 1/2K Fun Run (for kiddos 8 and under). 

Registration and number pick up on race morning 7:30 – 8:45 am

Course Info: The course will start at the Farm Institute, take a right and follow the bike path along Katama Rd to the second turn onto Edgartown Bay Road. Runners will then follow Edgartown Bay Road back to Katama Rd to the Aero Drive where the finish line awaits. It is the same course as previous years, just run in reverse.  

Travel: For ferry schedules visit www.steamshipauthority.com. The ferry crossing is 45 minutes. If you are bringing a vehicle you will need a reservation, call (508) 477-8600. If you are not bringing a car you do not need a reservation.
