Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase 5K

5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk

need to register by August 2nd to guarantee a t-shirt.

The majority of the 5K route will be along the city’s public trail system, which is smooth gravel. The 1 mile route will be on paved surfaces, with the exception of a very short gravel portion. The 1 mile route will be suitable for strollers. 

Saturday August 22, 2026, race begins at 7:30 AM - Main Street, Downtown Crane. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. 

This race is hosted by Discover Crane, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the Crane community. This year’s proceeds will be donated to the Crane City Pool. 

Cost per runner: 

$25 - Adults (with t-shirt) 

$10 - Kids (ages 7 to 15) (without a t-shirt)

$0 - Kids 6 and under  

$15 - t-shirt ONLY

Race packets and T-shirts can be picked up on Friday at the Broiler Festival or the morning of the race. Please check the Facebook event page for the race and the Crane Broiler Festival or Discover Crane Facebook page for updates.
