About This Race
Want to keep your semi-villainous figure in shape for devious deeds and hijinks? Well, look no further than The Morally Grey 5K, an opportunity to walk, jog, or run to promote these questionable characters we can’t help but love while also supporting literacy efforts in Northern Michigan. A portion of the proceeds will support literacy efforts in Michigan.
Join the Storykeepers on Saturday, October 31, at 9 AM, for a crisp 5K at Petoskey’s Waterfront Park along the Little Traverse Wheel Way (LTWW). A fully paved and accessible pathway, the LTWW is perfect for athletes of all skill levels. Don the branded Morally Grey 5K t-shirt (provided with registration) or dress as your favorite morally grey or villainous character—it’s Halloween after all! This event is open to all ages, even trick-or-treaters who want another excuse to wear their costumes! Please note that dressing up and cosplay are welcome and encouraged, but not required.
All participants will receive a medal after this professionally timed 5K. Bookish vendors will also be set up before and after the race in case participants and sideline supporters wish to do some fun, themed shopping.
We welcome everyone to take part in this event to get bodies moving and support literacy efforts in our community!
