Big Gay 5K

It's a 3.1 mile course winds that through the colorful, historic streets of Barrio Viejo with a generous time limit, on-course entertainment, and plenty of support along the way. Take your time—we just want you to get your steps in before you get your party on. The Big Gay 5K This is the race to break out the sequins, serve your best look, be judged by a drag queen, and maybe even attempt a colorful cartwheel at the finish line. Run, walk, or proudly meander your way through the course, then grab a cocktail in the park and join the celebration back at Armory Park.

Ready to make some questionable footwear choices? High Heel Havoc is an approximately one-city-block dash celebrating speed, style, and the occasional wobble. Prize packages will be awarded to both the fastest finishers and the participants who best embrace the spirit of the event. All genders are welcome, participants must be 18+, and heels must have a minimum heel height of 2 inches with a maximum base width of 1/2 inch. Depending on participation, the event may be divided into several heats. Final details are still being polished, so dust off an old pair or find a fabulous new pair and get ready to strut your stuff.
