About This Race

The Smoky Mountain Relay is a 208 mile team relay race in the Blue Ridge Mountains, running from the Pisgah Ranger Station near Brevard, NC to the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City. Teams of 6, 9, or 12 people split 36 legs across a mix of trail, gravel forest service roads, and paved roadways. The scenic course passes through the Pisgah and Nantahala National Forests and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
