About This Race
Description
Visit trails and structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps on a 2.5-mile hike that explores the legacy of the World War I veterans who helped shape the preserve during the Great Depression. Ages 16 and up; under 18 with an adult. $10 per person. To register by phone instead, call 630-850-8112.
Park at the lot on Spring Road 0.5 mile south of 31st Street and 0.5 mile north of York Road. We'll meet at the information sign near the nature education center. Dress for the weather and wear proper footwear.Subactivities
