About This Race

River's Edge Trail Race is a Tejas Trails event held in downtown Georgetown, TX at the Katy Trailhead in San Gabriel Park. Runners follow well-built, scenic single-track dirt trails that hug the banks of the San Gabriel River, linking multiple parks. The event offers trail run distances of 50K, 25K, 10 mile, 5 mile, and a youth 1 mile, plus cross-country mountain bike races of 22 and 11 miles.

Hydration Support

Aid stations on course; cupless event so runners bring their own cup or bottle; carry enough water for up to 5 miles at a time.

Race Weekend Logistics

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup at Cyclewerx in Georgetown on Thursday and Friday, and at the Race Hub Friday 4:30-7:00pm and Saturday 6:30am-8:45am.

The Youth Trail Run is for Kids 12 & under and will be sure to please our youngest trail runners quest for rugged adventure! The distance is approximately 1 mile and parents may run with their kids at no cost. Each young runner gets a finisher's medal! **T-shirts are not included but are available for purchase for $10 during registration.
