About This Race

The Yonah Mountain Vertical Challenge is a technical and steep trail race held over two days at Yonah Mountain in Georgia. Runners choose from 25K (5,000ft of climbing over 3 summits), 50K (10,000ft over 6 summits), a Double Up across both days, or a 50K 2-person relay. The course climbs the Yonah Mountain hiking trail to the summit with sections of scrambling, and the event includes an after-party at NoFo Brew Co.

Hydration Support

Full aid station at the main trailhead with Precision Fuel carb/electrolyte mix and a water stop near the summit; cupless event, carry your own bottle or bladder.

Race Weekend Logistics

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup Friday Feb 20 at 5:30PM at NoFo Brew Co (Cleveland); also available 6:30AM Saturday and 7:30AM Sunday at the trailhead.

Medical Support

Volunteers at the mountain-top with emergency supplies, available only for emergencies.
