About This Race

The Schaeffer Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K Trail Run is a late-fall trail race staged at the private Button Farm in Germantown, MD. Courses combine twisty singletrack at Schaeffer Farms with wide-open farm field running, drawing runners from across the DMV area. The event offers finisher medals, aid stations, post-race food, and a free kids race.
