About This Race

The Recharge Run is the 13th annual fundraiser benefiting the Friends of Government Canyon, a nonprofit supporting Government Canyon State Natural Area near San Antonio. Runners take on a 15K or 8K on the trails where dinosaurs once roamed. Both in-person and virtual options are offered, and all race entry fees go directly to fund projects at the natural area.

Awards

Awards for Top 3 male/female and Top 3 Masters male/female (50+). Finishers medal for all crossing the finish line. No age group awards.

Arrive at least 45 minutes before your race, at Folks Middle School to park, bus to Canyon, pick up timing chip, and walk 1/4 mile to start/finish line. There is one aid station with water and electrolytes on the course. Please plan to carry water with you, this is a CUPLESS race.
