About This Race
The Medoc Trail Races is a runner-first trail event at Medoc Mountain State Park in Hollister, North Carolina, in its 19th year. It offers a 10-Miler and a 5-Miler on wooded single-track and looped trails sharing the same start and finish. Finishers receive long sleeve shirts, unique finisher medals, post-race food, and the event's annual Finisher's Surprise.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
Aid stations well stocked with water, Gatorade, and gels; runners pass aid stations at least three times during each loop.
Awards
All finishers receive a medal; overall awards three deep, plus Masters and 5-year (10-Miler) / 10-year (5-Miler) age group awards.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Early Packet Pickup at Medoc Mountain State Park Friday evening at the picnic shelter; race day pickup Saturday morning before the races.
