About This Race
The Prevea Health Run Away to the Bay is a 55-mile spring relay race for teams of 2-8 participants. Starting on the shores of Lake Winnebago in Menomonee Park in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, runners head north toward the Fox Cities, cross Calumet County, and join the Fox River Trail before finishing on The City Deck in downtown Green Bay. Teams are seeded into wave starts based on average pace, and all participants receive a bib, wristband, shirt, finisher medal, finish-line food, and chip timing. The event is part of the 4imprint Race Series.
Course & Race Day Details
Hydration Support
No designated water stations; teams are loaded with a 'Mobile Aid Station' of sports drink, water, snacks and more, and provide their own vehicle hydration.
Awards
The top 3 finishers in each division win an award, distributed at the finish line; there is no formal awards ceremony. Divisions include Open and Masters Men, Women, and Mixed.
Race Weekend Logistics
Packet Pickup
Estimated packet pickup Friday, April 10th from 2pm-4pm at Push Fitness W3173 Springfield Dr (behind Run Away Shoes); also Saturday race day 6:00 AM to 7:20am at Menominee Park, enter at Siewert Ave.
Medical Support
Each team is responsible for supplying an adequate first aid kit on board each vehicle to treat blisters, abrasions and other common ailments.
