About This Race
The Oceana County Department of Veteran's Affairs annual 5K run happens on the second Saturday of November. The race start/end is at the newly renovated Getty Park in Downtown Shelby and follows Industrial Drive north before looping back south on the Hart-Montague Trail.
The Vet Day 5K is the primary fundraising event for the OCDVA and 100% of the proceeds stay in the county to support Oceana County veterans for items like transportation to medical appointments, food pantry, and other needs.
Same day registration will be available. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of race.
