Bobcat Scorcher 5K

Join us for one of Bluffton's favorite summer traditions—the 15th Annual Bobcat Scorcher 5K Run/Walk! This family-friendly community event welcomes runners, walkers, students, alumni, and neighbors of all ages to come together in support of local youth and education.

The race begins and ends at Bluffton High School on Saturday, August 8th, with an 8:00 AM start. Participants will enjoy a scenic and fast course through the heart of Bluffton while celebrating the spirit of our community. Whether you're chasing a personal best, walking with friends, or cheering from the sidelines, the Bobcat Scorcher is a great way to connect with fellow residents and support a meaningful cause.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Bluffton High School Cross Country Team, the Grace Sulak Scholarship Foundation, and the Scorcher Senior Student Scholarship Fund, helping provide opportunities for local students and student-athletes.

The first 300 registered participants will receive a commemorative tri-blend race shirt. Custom finisher medals will be awarded to the overall male and female champions, as well as the top three finishers in each age division: 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.

Packet pickup will be held on Friday, August 7th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palmetto Running Company in Bluffton. Gather your friends, bring the family, and be part of a Bluffton tradition that continues to bring our community together year after year.
