Kiwanis Club of Chester Annual 5K

Memorial Day Weekend Saturday May 23, 2026. Race Start Time 8:45 A.M. The Kiwanis Club is pleased to host the 31st running of the Chester 5k race. This is a very competitive 3.1 mile race at the start of the summer running season. At the conclusion of the race we are offering the participants refreshments, a full hot breakfast, ice cream, and free raffle drawings. On race day registered runners and walkers will pick up their bib and Tee shirt in the Chester Community Park between 7:30 and 8:30. Race starts just outside the park on Walnut Street at 8:45. T-Shirts are guaranteed to those who sign up by May 2nd. All proceeds benefit : High School Scholarships, Welcome to Kindergarten Bags, Christmas Toyland, Veterans , Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Chester Community Food Pantry, Salvation Army, March of Dimes and other Regional Charities Race timing with individual on the spot printed results of your race by Mid-Hudson Timing midhudsontiming.com USATF Certified Course #NY13047JG Measured by Brian Cavanagh Runner Awards Trophies to the overall top 3 Male and Female finishers.
