About This Race

Pounding the Pavement for Pink is an annual 5K road race held in Seymour, Connecticut on the first Saturday of October to fight breast cancer. The USATF-certified course begins on River Road and travels through town past the Community Center, Historical Society, and Library before a flat finish. The event draws thousands of runners, walkers, and spectators and includes live and virtual options plus a kids fun run.
