About This Race
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the annual Scarecrow Scrambler on October 31, 2026. The
race begins and ends at the Jefferson Civic Center, 65 Kissam Street, steps away from beautiful
downtown Jefferson.
This year’s theme is the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Come dressed in costume or your favorite
running gear. Wonderful Wizard of Oz costumes encouraged! Prizes given for the best
costumes and best themed costume. Medals will be awarded to age group winners.
The race, hosted by Jefferson Kiwanis Club and Unity Masonic Lodge, is a fundraiser for local
community projects such as the Kiwanis Literacy Launch and Masonic Children’s Home. So click
your ruby shoes-or your favorite running shoes-and follow the Yellow Brick Road to the 2026
Scarecrow Scrambler!
